W. Watson & Sons London 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 Full Plate Sideboard Camera w/ Brass Lens

Here is a rare W. Watson & Sons high end sideboard camera. It is made of a beautiful high end mahogany which really stands out. It is in great shape showing light wear. It has its original bellows which look fine but do have light leaks when checked with a flashlight. The lens is a brass Wray London 8 1/2 x 6 1/2. The camera is also slotted on the inside to receive a stereo partition but there is no stereo partition with the camera. The diaphragm works fine. The glass is clean. The ground glass is intact but there is a small piece of glass missing in one corner. The lens forms a nice image on the ground glass. W. Watson & Sons were one of the high end British camera makers and this is a really beautiful camera and makes an amazing display piece..
