Here is a rare Anthony & Scovill Co. leather covered Compact camera. It is a full plate 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch size camera. It was probably one of the last cameras Anthony & Scovill made before they switched the name over to Ansco. The camera combines the style of the older wooden cameras with the front standard and the body is more like later leather covered folding cameras. I am selling the camera "as-is" as it is in need of restoration. The bellows are shot and can not be used. The leather covered body is intact showing some wear. It has triple extending front. It has its orignal strap. The brass piece that opens the camera when folded up is present but has come loose. It comes with its original faux alligator covered case.
