This auction is for a
RARE 1940's WWII GULFLEX Gulf Oil LUBRICATION US MILITARY POSTER 27 2/3 X 41 1/2 inch ORIGINAL. Poster was from my grandfather's estate. He was in the Navy and Army during WWII. Was stored in his closet for decades. Produced/Created by: Gulflex (Gulf Oil of Pittsburgh) in 1940's and hung in military housing/training facilities. Titled: "HAS A QUIETING EFFECT" as a soldier warns the other of the Military Policeman.
Great color, average edge wear, small middle slit tear, bottom left corner tear. Please look at the many pictures for exact condition. No tape or repairs all original unrestored. Has small hole on bottom left side. No pin holes, I don't think it was every displayed just rolled up and stored for decades. PERFECT TO FRAME.  Bottom left corner reads: February
1st to 15th- All Divisions.
So this did not display very long if it ever was displayed. I researched this piece I could not find images or information anywhere. Could not find exact year. Could not find artist. Try to look it up it's so rare and impossible to find. Great for Car Collectors Garage or Veterans' Collection. I will ship in strong tube.
