PetSafe Wire Break Locator
The RFA-590 is a new and improved wire-break locator that
easily detects wire breaks in any in-ground fence system.  This is done by temporarily replacing your fence transmitter with a test transmitter then tracing your fence configuration. It includes a specific tuned receiver to eliminate interference and dual lights to match the audible dual tones. This helps find the breaks faster.
On one wire there will be a low tone and on the other wire there will be a higher pitched tone. The portable hand-held receiver is used to pick up those tones. For example: If you are walking along the boundary wire and are hearing the low-pitched tone, the volume of the tone will begin to decrease when you are nearing a break in the wire. After you have gone past the break, the high pitched tone will now be heard, in this way you can find the break within inches.
For best results in repairing wire breaks, it's highly recommended that you replace a 3 to 4 foot section of the fence wire where the break occurred to ensure against further moisture issues in the wire.

All returns need a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #) before the return is shipped back. This makes the refund process quicker. The RMA # is issued when you start a return for the item in E-Bay.
Items displaying wear or with indications of use, i.e. pet hair, dirty, etc. cannot be returned. Wire break detectors, fence wire unwound and off the spool, opened battery packs, opened DNA kits and litter boxes are not eligible for refund.
Expedited shipping charges (Overnight/2nd Day Air) are not refundable.
