Description

The Hidom X5 is a double outlet aquarium air pump capable of 1800cc/min. This pump can be powered plugged straight into the mains, or it can run off an internal rechargeable battery capable of an impressive 45 hours battery life. The battery can be charged by using the 3 pin plug, or connected via USB or micro-USB. This feature can come in handy to avoid disruption during potential power cuts. Electronic devices can also be powered/recharged via the USB ports.
The X5 air pump comes with a large LCD screen which shows the battery life and air flow. The air flow is electronically regulated, and can be adjusted using the buttons displayed on screen. No adjustable dial means less moving parts, providing a much sleeker design.
The X5 also has a repeating intermittent mode, where the pump can be set to function for 2 minutes, but then turn off for either 1, 2, 4 or 6 minutes. The pump then turns back on again and continues the cycle.
The X5 sits on 4 pronged rubber feet to help reduce noise so you can enjoy your aquarium in peace and quiet.
The X5 air pump also has an in-built check valve meaning a separate check valve is not required to be installed in the air line.
