Here we have an almost mint 100% original 1965 Fender Reverb Unit.  This unit is fresh out of storage from a collector whom we have been selling many items for.  All his merchandise is rare and collector grade. My technician had clean the pots, jacks, contacts, etc. as the unit is working perfectly.
Tube chart ink stamp is OF making it from June of 1965.  Pot codes are 304-0165 and 2 are 304-2165.
Cosmetically VERY clean near mint in my vintage book.  There are a few minor tolex flaws that you can see in the pictures.  Original power cord, knobs, filter caps, possibly the tubes, all original.
TONE.
These units are the 'gold standard' of vintage reverb surfy/rockabilly/spaghetti western 'drip' of the real-deal Reverb sounds.  They are the Grand-Daddy/Big Kahuna reverbs of all the other wannabes. These units still set the bar.  Some consider it the 'holy grail' of all the Fender reverb tanks.  You just can't get the same sound out of a pedal.  Just nothing like it in my opinion of 46 years of selling-using reverb units and vintage gear.
