Description
For your consideration, a vintage (1940's, 1950's?) tube amp from a vintage intercom. These have the reputation for being an excellent platform to build a small, low watt, guitar amplifier. This is not working, no power cord, untested. A bit dusty and some spots with surface rust. Excellent numbers on these USA made tubes, 14A7, 50A5 and 35Y4. Made by Sylvania and RCA. The inside is full of cloth covered wire, carbon comp resistors, cool giant capacitors, transformers and a solid chassis
You could probably part this out for more than the asking price, or build it into something really cool.
If you decide to build it into a guitar amp, you should only do that if you understand that tube amps contain high voltages and could kill you if you don't know what you're doing.
When I ship it, I will remove the tubes and wrap each one individually in bubble wrap for safe travels to your home.
