Description
I have tried to research and identify this stemmed bowl. To the best of my knowledge I believe it is by Bryce Glass Co.This is an antique Bryce & Higbee or U.S. Glass comport or candy dish. In a Colonial pattern, the clear glass bowl has scalloped edges with arched panels on a stem. The base has a wide homespun type cut design underneath with a scalloped flower shape. The inside of the bowl is smooth. I am really not sure of the exact age as this piece has no marks. It came from my 88 year old neighbor's estate.
It stands 7 1/2" tall x 6" wide. It has a few bubbles in the glass and a couple of rough edges on the panels. I know she used it as a candy dish at one time. I will be listing many more items from this same estate over the next few months. Check back often.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day. I love to combine shipping so be sure to Check out my
