    Description

    Vintage Alweg monorail set. This wooden toy was made for the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. It comes in the original box. Appears to be complete or nearly so - consists of 2 monorail cars, 5 trestles, 8 track pieces. Illustration on the back of the box seems to match this piece count. Also includes some smaller pieces (wooden dowels, tacks, screw eyes) though I don’t know how many are supposed to come with it, so I don’t know if all original parts are there. Does appear to be missing the string or wire that is meant to connect the cars and the track. The pieces that are there are in very nice shape; this set does not appear to have been played with extensively. The box shows some storage wear.
