1968 VOX AC-30STSUPER TWIN AMP – SERVICED AND WORKING
This amp has been my pride and joy but it’s time to let it go. This version of the AC30 has separate head and speaker cabinets and as far as I’m concerned, it’s the only way to go as it can be handled by one person. With the addition of casters, it is super easy to move around.
It has been serviced and those parts (such as electrolytic condensers) that needed replacement have been replaced.
The footswitch(Vox, but not original) that operates the tremolo is permanently wired in (as with the original).
The Tolex is original and in nice shape however, it is rough on the bottom.
The grill cloth is not original but is a very good match to the original.
The chassis has been treated with a rust preventative which accounts for the black color. (see photos).
The speaker cones have been professionally repaired (not a recone)and are solid and sound great.
The voltage selector switch is stuck and permanently wired to US 120 VAC. A long grounded plug is installed.
