Description
1962 SEATTLE WORLDS FAIR SPACE NEEDLE JIM BEAM REGAL CHINA BOTTLEThis Beam Bottle was part of our huge Worlds Fair and Exposition Collection. We mostly collected 1933/34 and 1939/40 items but also have many pieces from much earlier to much later Fairs. We offered the entire collection as a buy it now on eBay with no takers and have since been piecing it out. My husband, seller named Jal12147 and I will be selling items till it’s gone.
This is a Jim Beam Space Needle bottle or decanter designed especially for the 1962 Seattle Worlds Fair, the Space Needle and for their sponsor Century 21. The bottle was made by the Regal China Company especially for Jim Beam. Made of shiny-glazed pottery, the bottle is in excellent condition with only one flaw: the bottom of the cork was broken off. There is enough cork still fixed to the top to seal the bottle. There are no nicks, chips or cracks and the colors are vibrant. The gold decoration is sharp and bright. The white areas on the top are just the reflection of ceiling lights. The top is dark gray and evenly glazed.
The bottle is 13” tall with the stopper in place. The base is 4-7/8” across. The stopper top is 4” across and 1-3/4” tall. Please let me know if you have any questions or need another picture. Thank you for looking!
