    This fun advertising blotter is from the 1950-60s era. From Gulf Oil Company for their "Gulf Solar Heating Oil" product which isn't anything like the "solar heat" we think of today. Iconic 1950s image of a man sitting with a pipe in his mouth, in his robe in his reclining chair. Has an ad for a service station at 2100 Chestnut Street, in Philadelphia, PA with an old style phone number of RI 6-0800. Measures 3 x 5 1/2 inches in great condition, sharp corners, bright colors, looks like the ink bleed in the upper right corner a little.
    Guaranteed to be "old" and authentic.
